At Rescu-Ed CPR we provide CPR classes to meet your needs. We offer:​

  • ​GROUP CPR CERTIFICATION CLASSES at your location for your employees. ​

  • ​LOCAL CPR CERTIFICATION CLASSES where you can easily pick a date that is convenient to you, ​​come to the location and we provide the training. ​

  • ​ONE ON ONE CPR class where we will come to your home and provide private training for you and your family. ​

​​

Chose us as your next CPR certification class training provider and we will send a professionally trained instructor to your home or office.

BASIC FIRST AID                                                      â€‹

Basic First Aid provides basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond in an emergency.  It covers burns, cuts, sudden illnesses, heat/cold emergencies and more. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory Board and meets OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.

HEARTSAVER CPR/AED

Heartsaver CPR and AED is a combined CPR and AED program designed specifically for laypeople. It covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. The program is an excellent choice for the community and workplace setting, as well as the fitness, education and childcare professional. and is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science, and 2010 American Heart guidelines.

BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS                                 INITIAL/RENEWAL CERTIFICATION

This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking. Topics include information on stroke, cardiac arrest, and special resuscitation situations. Students participate in practice and complete various skills and learning stations. Ideal for learners who prefer group interaction and feedback from an instructor while learning skills. Teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-and out-of-hospital settings.  Focus on the critical concepts of high-quality CPR.

ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of pre-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.

**Every ACLS student MUST have a CURRENT American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) card. If taking ACLS renewal, you must also have a CURRENT AHA ACLS card.​

​​

**Students must bring a current AHA ACLS Student Manual (2010 / 2011 VERSION) and pre-course assessment found in their student manual to class with them - Student Manual may be purchased during registration or somewhere else, BUT IT IS A COURSE REQUIREMENT

Students that have completed the BLS Healthcare Provider Online Part 1 Course; BLS Anytime For Healthcare Providers and Heart Code BLS Part 1 Course Course can complete a skills check off with one of our instructors

Content:

• Skills Test for Adult, child and infant CPR (including 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)

• Use of automated external defibrillator with CPR

​

The BLS Skills Test is the validation section of the over-all BLS Online Initial or Renewal course. Once the student completes the core skills of CPR for adult, infant and child using the interactive patient scenarios online as well as the BLS written exam, he/she must then complete a skills test. This course incorporates the latest science from the American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC 2010.

A skills session is the hands-on portion of an AHA eLearning course and includes Parts 2 and 3 — skills practice and testing. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online.

​

Depending on the course, skills sessions are conducted by AHA BLS Instructors.  

​

For admission into a skills session, students must present their Part 1 Certificate of Completion to the AHA Instructor.

Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid Skills Check-off (AHA Heartsaver parts 2 and 3)  ​

​AUDIENCE:​

Designed for employee training at companies, corporations, businesses or other entities. For employees and/or designated first responders who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Students that have completed the Heartsaver CPR/AED Online Part 1 Course
